They kept saying it was because of their family and friends. Dana and Howard believed it was such an auspicious time because they were surrounded by the people they love the most in honor of their wedding. And, so, at a time in October when you might count on finding a Michigander wearing a parka on a South Haven beach, instead you found the most glorious sun warming the air and creating a perfect day for Howard and Dana to pledge their vows to each other. On a South Haven beach. In front of their family and friends.
Howard’s brother, Neil, definitely gave the best best man toast I’ve ever heard at a wedding. There was no shortage of laughter for sure!
Dana & Howard: Again, thank you for the honor of allowing me to capture your day. As you know, it was a unique privilege for me since I’ve worked so closely with you both in the past. I never would have guessed, Dana, that over six years ago when I was picking your brain about environmental policy or, Howard, when we toured Old Jerusalem together, that one day I’d be able to witness your wedding day. But, I’m thrilled that I did and I hope you both will treasure these photographs decades from now. All the best to you both for all the rest of your lives.
