Every wedding I photograph is a true honor for me. I know how important the day is and I like to imagine its greater importance in the span a couple’s life together too. I always wonder if a photograph I create of a couple today will be their grandchild’s favorite memory of them someday.
So, it’s an even bigger honor when I am able to capture such an important day for a friend. Michelle and I used to work together back in the days when I worked in state government. It was a hectic time. It was a wild ride. But most of all, it was awesome. And so many of the people I worked with then remain some of my very favorite people today. I love regular moments with this group of people – running into someone at a coffee shop or sharing a quick lunch – but to be there on such a big day is just incredible. So thank you, Michelle and Jason. I am so appreciative of your trust on such an important day in your lives and I hope it was just the beginning of a wonderful life together. Cheers, friends!
