When you live with the same person all through college, you come away with a wealth of memories. You remember big things like traveling to France together. You remember little quirks like how your roommate would haul out Rubbermaid tubs and reorganize her closet each time she was procrastinating about studying for a big exam. You remember how cool you both were when you spent your Saturday evenings going through the college catalog with page flags and highlighters to make sure you were still on track. You remember things like when you both had the flu together so the couch bed was pulled out and you both laid there for days watching episodes of The Golden Girls. I told you we were cool. You remember how sad you were when you cleaned out your apartment for the very last time and knew you’d never live with your college roommate again.
Paula was one of my college roommates for four years and, to this day, is still one of my very best friends. So it is a great feeling to see her so happily in love with David and to see how David appreciates all of the quirks we love about Paula. It was a huge honor for me to photograph their engagement session and come away with photographs of Paula so very happy…
